He is a volunteer pilot with Animal Rescue Flights. The non-profit organization rescues animals from overcrowded “kill” shelters and transports them to “non-kill” shelters. Kirk Hogan Baur has rescued many dogs, transporting them from shelters in the south to shelters in the north.
