GUIDANCE & COUNSELING TEAM The Guidance & Counseling department is here to provide expertise in the areas of personal / social, academic and career development. On Friday, April 16th, 2010 the Guidance Department is sponsoring our annual “Career Day”! The career day will sponsor 30 professionals in fields such as forensic science, physical therapy and US Secret Service to name a few. Students will have the opportunity to see up to two different occupations over the course of the day, which they have chosen from a survey disseminated to them during their homeroom period. The topics that the professionals will cover with the students encompass a description of the career, education requirements, salary, working conditions, employment outlook, as well as providing additional sources of information or referrals for students to continue their research on a particular field of interest. Lakeland Regional High School would like to thank all the professionals who have willingly volunteered their valuable time to share their knowledge of their career with our students.
