Here at Kutztown University the Language Resource Center (LRC) offers students that additional support: it is a place to study, seek assistance, find peer support, and socialize. At its core, the LRC offers computer, digital, and electronic resources, as well as technical and linguistic assistance, to students studying languages in today’s digital media-rich environment. Dr. S. Pascale Dewey presented the “Outstanding Student in French” award to Noralva Zavala, a B. S. Ed. major. Noralva attended the ceremony with her husband and son, Giovanni. Brandy Cooley received the department’s “Cultural Ambassador” award for her dedication to languages and cultures. Brandy earned a B. S. Ed and a B. A. in French at this year’s Commencement.
