Message from the President: Joe Goodroe May 15, 2013 May, what a busy month for Tennis in Georgia!!! This is our first issue of the “USTA Georgia Monthly Newsletter”. I hope you enjoy reading it and you find it a resource to learn more about our GREAT organization. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Joe Goodroe and I am the current President of USTA Georgia. It is truly an honor to serve as your President. The Board of Directors and I have the privilege of leading the largest state organization within the USTA organization. I mentioned earlier that May is a busy month for USTA Georgia. We are in the middle of our Adult State League Championships. They run from May 3-June 3. They are taking over courts in Macon, Rome, Augusta, Columbus, and Bainbridge. We have completed two to date, our Championships in Macon and Rome. We now have our winners that will represent us at the Southern Level.
